Mr. Cragoe possesses over thirty years of experience in investing, financial management, and consulting. Prior to joining SeaBridge, he was a partner of Greenwich Associates, a leading international consulting firm for investment management and other financial service firms. While at Greenwich Associates, Mr. Cragoe served as partner in charge of daily operations from April 1985 to June 1987. At that time, he became a full-time consulting partner of Greenwich Associates, with primary responsibility for developing business in Japan, including research-based consulting programs in brokerage services, bond dealing, foreign exchange, and international corporate finance. In addition, Mr. Cragoe managed consulting relationships with banking organizations in the U.S. - including major money-center, regional, and local banks - and with the operations groups of several major Wall Street firms. Also during his time at Greenwich Associates, from 1992 to 1996, Mr. Cragoe was director of Prime Advisors, Inc., an institutional investment counselor in Seattle, Washington.
Prior to joining Greenwich Associates, Mr. Cragoe was President and Chief Operating Officer of Irwin Financial Corporation in Columbus, Indiana. He served as Chief Executive Officer of that firm's mortgage banking, venture capital, and investment service subsidiaries; he was also Vice Chairman of Irwin Union Bank & Trust Company.
Mr. Cragoe is portfolio manager for SeaBridge G/V Fund LLC. He graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1967, and after four years in the U.S. Navy, he returned to that university and earned a Master of Business Administration degree. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and Certified Public Accountant designations. |
